SHERBROOKE, Quebec — Police are asking the public for help locating 16-year-old Serah Benoit-Lessard, who has been missing since August 30, 2026.
The Service de police de Sherbrooke (SPS) issued a public appeal on September 23, asking anyone with information about Serah’s whereabouts to contact investigators.
Police said people close to the teenager have reason to fear for her safety.
Serah Benoit-Lessard Last Seen August 30
According to police, Serah left her residence at approximately 5:30 p.m. on August 30 and has not been located since.
Investigators have not publicly released details about why she left her residence or what happened afterward.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen Serah since her disappearance to come forward with information that could help establish her whereabouts.
Description of Missing Teen
Serah is described as approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 165 pounds.
She has brown eyes and brown or chestnut-coloured hair.
When she was last seen, she was reportedly wearing a dark-coloured sweatshirt and grey jogging pants.
Police said she also has distinctive piercings, including one in the middle of her right ear and another in her nostril.

The SPS is urging anyone with information about Serah’s whereabouts to contact investigators.
